I was gonna go on a diatribe about how much I hate religion and the way it's hijacked world politics, but after I typed it all out, I decided that "the religious right", an oxymoron if I ever heard one, wasn't worth the effort. I would like to see everyone who isn't brainwashed by religion to get together and stop the hostile takeover of North American politics by religious zealots. It's out of control and has to stop.
So I listen to music and feel better about the situation. I decide to delete the post and start again, and so you see what happened.
Sure, lots of people will say "but with no god, there'd be no music", I say bullshit. It's people who created music, just like it's people who created god. What's unbelievable to me is that there are so many people who can be so easily suckered into believing all that tripe. But I digress.
Seperate church and state, so we can finally erase the hate. The religious right is wrong, it's time they were shown the door out of the halls of politics. We must be free.
Oh yeah, and legalize pot.
